Joyeux anniversaire!

Elaine’s post regarding last night’s birthday celebrations!! I love the pics. And the homemade crepes were absolutely delicious.

At 8p, the joint birthday party for Rasa and Tytti commenced at 72 Rue de la Tranchee. Tytti and Jess made the crepes, Jilly and I made an apple-cinnamon topping and everyone else brought all sorts of little nibblets. People slowly trickled in and by the end of the night, there were probably around 30 people in the courtyard, way more than the anticipated 12.  But that’s always the case here in Poitiers.  it was the perfect night to spend outdoors in the candlelight while enjoying our many desserts and snacks. My personal favorite were the salty pretzels dipped in nutella, which was devoured way too quickly.
